I was RPM director at KWVA in Eugene, OR when a few '00 albums came out and I couldn't escape the promo-company's hype. The sad fact for me was, the album's blandness felt so calculated that I couldn't help feel it wasn't meant to be anything but walpaper, Starbuck comp. fodder. So I guess... keep it relegated to the corp. parties please.

I didn't hire the promo company back then but they must have taken their job very serious...You can sleep easy though, all my projects, including the new A&C album, are strictly 'indie' (they always were by the way) and if you tell me where you're working now (not at a 'corporation' I hope! :)...) I'll make sure our promo company will not bother you this time.
