Who’s excited to see which acts at this year’s Sasquatch fest (May 26-28)? I’m particularly stoked about Jamie Lidell, and am curious to see if Beck still has any juice left.

Actually, they are allowing in outside food and water this year--and it appears that you may not have to be sequestered in a beer garden to have a drink. See rules and regs here.
Thanks Hannah. After last year's debaucle I swore off ever attending another concert at the Gorge.
Um, did anyone else even go last year? I brought in a bag chock full of snacks (and could have brought in booze, as no one even checked my bag). I also enjoyed many a tall boy smack-dab in front of every stage, and was able to find shade whenever I needed to, be it next to a fence, under a tree, or in the Xbox-sponsored tents.
I went last year and had a blast. One day was perfect.
I'm not going this year. Three days is just too much. It's a bloated line-up which would be much more enticing if the highlights were packed into one day.

One day is plenty of concert for me, so I'm going to be there on Saturday.

Last year was hot, but a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, bottled water, and enough money for lunch, dinner and some booze ($40 was plenty for me)
No reentry kinda sucked, but I managed and had a great time last year.

Sasquatch rules. If not for the music then for the kick-ass venue rules.
No outside food or drink. Empty bottles allowed, but you'll have to stand in line to fill them. Oh yeah, bonus for the $7-$8 beers! That helps. Like to eat? Here's a snow-cone for $6.
Blazing hot sun getting to ya? Sorry, no umbrellas or artificial shade allowed inside. Try and stand in the mist tent (which by the this time is jam packed full of sweaty, smelly people rubbing against each other). If that doesn't help there's 4-5 trees planted at the top of the amphitheater. They provide a meager 4-5 feet of shade.
