Actually, he's way, way off - go watch his "reel" on his web site. Yes, he is impressive *for a child* in that he has some motor skills not found in most kids that age. Go, kid, I guess. But this is only marginally more impressive than seeing a four year-old kid riffle shuffle a deck of cards or clean and reassemble a rifle or anything else that most adults could do given fifteen minutes of practice. Fame or praise predicated on age is supremely fleeting. There is a point at which bands (or musicians) cease being "good for being so young" or the equally annoying "good for being girls" and just become good. Unfortunately, it seems that at that point, most people cease being interested in them. Apparently, though dozens of empty-handed returns home from Sonic Boom would indicate otherwise, there is a glut of good bands making music today. You might even think someone would write articles about them.
