Journalist Leaks Mastodon Album, Gets Fired

Swift justice was brought to a British music journalist who leaked to the internet Mastodon’s forthcoming album, Blood Mountain, well before its Sept. 12 release date.
mtv.com has some of the details, but, oddly, neither the journalist’s name nor his/her publication.
I’m surprised I haven’t heard about more such busts. Gotta keep close tabs on those slimy music journalists, you know?

i know of one hiphop blogger who leaked the entirety of Outkast's Idlewild last week on a top-rated rap mag's blog.
I think the label doesn't really care tho cuz, well, the album fucking sucks.

Its impressive that Mastodon has such a firm grip on their music that they know who and how their album was leaked.
