Fresh blood for the Crocodile

Posted by KURT B. REIGHLEY at 01:19 PM

As Hannah reported a few weeks ago, the much-beloved Christine Wood recently resigned from her post at the Crocodile, and turned over booking responsibilities to the equally delightful Pete Greenberg. But with Pete moving up the chain of command, who would fill his shoes? Please welcome back to Seattle, Eli Anderson, former Stranger intern and Seattle’s Sexiest Record Store Employee of 2005.

Eli will be moving back to our fair city from Boston (where he has been working for the folks at Forced Exposure distribution) and assuming the duties of Assistant Booking Agent circa early December. Welcome home, Eli!

Hey, this is about me!

I'm super excited to be coming back to Seattle with such a kick ass job. I know that the Croc has always been my favorite place to see shows in town. And have you had their French Dip with BACON!? OMG!

Also, I love the fact that my Stranger file photo is THAT photo...

wow. this is great news -- it's always nice to hear that talented people are coming (back) to seattle rather than moving away, and I rarely went wrong with an eli pick at sonic boom; so it looks like the croc will be in good hands for 2007.

That photo is TOTALLY REPRESENTATIVE! When Eli was my intern, all he did was lounge across my desk, gazing at me from behind those come-hither bangs and don't-make-me-kick-your-ass wristband.

The Croc is in for a treat. Hooray for the return of Eli!

you'd better still be in boston for xthnksgvngx, though!
