Rage Against the Machine?! Happy Mondays!?! Really, there are too many surprising (Rage)/awesome (Soulwax) artists to single out, but damn! This is a great lineup, so much more exciting than last year. Who’s got a pool in the area?

Stop being obtuse. What the hell is this about?

AMAZING lineup. So much so it makes my head spin. I need to sit down now.

Tickets on sales saturday. I think it's 249.00 for the whole weekend.

How is this even possible? Looks great, but what's up with the Kooks? Are people really taking them seriously?

The inclusion of Soulwax is perhaps the sole reason I'm considering making the trek down to SoCal for this. Soulwax is *incredible* live - not to be missed.

Red Hot Chili Peppers?????!@

That's exactly what I said, Amy Kate! Why the fuck does that band need to be on this line-up! It's stellar, and the RHCH just taint the otherwise impressive list.

See what I mean about them never ever going away? Someone make them stop!

Agreed. Can they please exile Red Hot Chili Peppers to the Gobi Tent? I can't imagine how, even in Southern California, they're still mainstage material.

also, grr argh about missing the presale last week.

wow, that lineup is insane. i've never had much interest in coachella, but maybe it's time to reconsider.

Holy shit. This is an insane line up. Rumors are still circulating that a reunited Police will be added.

Can we just leave out the dinosaurs and stick to the contemporary and relevant acts?

Take it from a Coachella veteran: there's a bright side to bands like RHCP headlining the main stage.

While the unwashed masses are getting their Californication on, you'll have more room to breathe at a different/better stage. Or a shorter wait for a beer. Or a head start on the mass exodus outta there.

RHCP make me want to yank my eyeballs out, so that I can then stick them in my ears to avoid hearing them. That's how much I HATE THEM.

Any rumors as to which night the Police may be playing? I'm not so into grandpa bands normally*, but I would kinda like to see that one.

*unless it involves AIR SUPPLY at the Emerald Queen Casino, to which I say FUCK YAH.

I shall write the words in the sky.

And they will be "Lily Allen Happy Mondays Jarvis Cocker".

>It's stellar, and the RHCH just taint the >otherwise impressive list.

Megan, for some reason, I mis-read this sentence as "the RHCH just list the otherwise impressive taint."

Best mis-read sentence ... EVER.
I just wanted to share my joy.
