For my two pennies I'd have to say that most of it isn't my cup of tea (old man lament #1: I think a lot of it sounds the same), but I think it's pretty clever. Weird Al had a good point (and I can swear to God I NEVER thought I'd say that) in that it is a great juxtaposition of two things that were never meant to go together, actually going together well.

Not that I would ever compare the suburban gamers who make/listen to Nerdcore to the fiery birth of hip-hop, but it's kind of the same idea of taking a style/beat/what-have-you and doing something completely different with it.
