The Wikipedia entry on Hot Boys
Rapper Mims (last week’s #1, this week’s #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart) on why he’s hot:
This is why I’m hot, This is why I’m hot This is why, This is why uh This is why I’m hot (uh) This is why I’m hot, This is why I’m hot whoo This is why, This is why This is why I’m hotI’m hot coz I’m fly
You ain’t coz you’re not
This is why x2
This is why I’m hot(x2)This is why I’m hot
I dont gotta rap
I can sell a mill saying nothing on the track
I represent New York
I got it on my back
And they say that we lost it
So I’mma bring it back
I love the dirty dirty
Coz niggas show me love
The ladies start to bounce
As soon as I hit the club
But in the Midwest
They love to take it slow
So when I hit the H
I watch you get it on the floor
And if you needed hyphy
I take it to the bay
Frisco to Sac town
They do it eryday
Coppin a Hollywood
As soon as I hit LA
I’m in that low low
I do it the cali way
And when I hit the Chi
People say that I’m fly
They like the way I dress they like (they like my) my attire
move crowds from side to side
They ask me how I do it and simply I reply
And, finally, Rob Harvilla (writing for the enemy) on why Mims is hot.

Did you read the Monkeys Hate You this week yet? Back page funny ass comix action.
A bunch of monkeys fighting about hotness. Dude should get credit for a whole day's worth of posts.
despise mims, but thanks for the Hot Boys wiki:
Originally a 1920s New Orleans slang for flashy, showboating individuals, the term "Hot Boys" was adopted by four friends from the Magnolia Projects and HollyGrove due to their penchant for wearing red and having luxury items in the hood. The four friends Gangsta, Sterling, Dooney and Mosquito were notorious thugs on the streets of New Orleans, and it was rumoured that when the Hot Boys were taken off the streets, the murder rate of New Orleans dropped.
Terrance "Gangsta" Williams was one of several children born to Terrance Sr. His half-siblings also included Ronald and Brian Williams. In a chance meeting at a funeral and unaware of their relations, Ronald had a conversation with Terrance in which he discovered that they were half brothers. Following this discovery, Terrance worked with his brothers on developing their label, Cash Money. When Cash Money's flagship artists were put into a supergroup, Terrance lent the name of his group to the upstart musicians. The rap group "Hot Boys" was born.
