Who invited you to the debate, Mr. Not Attracted to Men?

Eric,
Though I've only seen little pictures of you in The Stranger and read your thoughts on Line Out....I could totally picture you eating Daniel Johnston's ass out through a park bench.

Well to be fair, we're talking about boys that are hot to begin with. I don't mean to say that every dude who picks up an instrument is instantly hot. That's not the case at all. It just makes the attractive ones more attractive. And it has, at times, made the not that attractive ones strangely attractive too. But only SOMETIMES does that work.

Hello. I am Mr. Attracted to Men.

For me, my sexual attraction toward dudes who play music (when it exists at all) has little to do with the fact of the music and more to do with the music as a component and/or extension of his intellect. If a dude plays music but has a diminished capacity for critical thinking, facility with complex language (however you take that word), and bad taste (and that one), then to me the music is irrelevant, and the dude is expelled from the realm of sexuality altogether. As Eric said, it's a matter of cues and signals that align or don't align with my/our/your ideals—ideals whose soul purpose is to undergird what we have already regarded as good choices and convictions and discard those we believe to have been worthless.

I can't wait till we can get back to talking about music up in here!

hmmm, this makes me wonder then...does being in a band make a hot lady hotter? for me? no. Never has. Laura from Superchunk didn't need a band to be hot. Yet I know LEGIONS of guys that line up (cameras in hand) to see bands w/girl members (fugly guys, BTW). I think it all comes down to the "roller derby" hope, like MAYBE in the ensuing chaos, a boob or part of a nipple will somehow be exposed.

Responding toi anythiong said by Megan Seling is hyphy (for you white people that mean totally fucking stupid).

Responding to anything Megan Seling said about something Ari Spool said is bordering on "I'm oput of shit to type about". Sitting in a Marriot in Texas at 4:15am pontificating about any of it is making want to see if Brtiney will tqke me back.
