Classic A Number of Names - “Shari Vari”
posted by on April 23 at 11:47 AM
A commenter on my Detroit video post wondered what the track was in the 2nd video. I answered in the comments with that info. (A Number of Names’ “Shari Vari”), but after the videos were posted to a local mailing list, BG posted this link, which gives more information on the track and posts a few of the available remixes.
[Thanks BG]

are you sure it was DB who posted that link?
ah, you are correct. it was bg, not db. thanks for the heads up. corrected.
Thanks Donte. I miss this music. It was so way ahead of its time and the programming is just wicked.
I always like electro beat with hypnotic vocals going along with it.
This reminded me of Cybotron and Kraftwerk and that got me to thinking that this experimental electro stuff goes way back even into the 70s and I see this connection between Europe and America in college music back then.
another cool music link with not only Shari Vari but throbbing gristle and caberete voltaire. these tracks bring back a flood of memories thanks for saharing everyone. this summers going to be great.
