How about this shaky footage of the Halo Benders playing "Freedom Riders" last week in Boise?

"Rippin off jocks, flippin off cops ..."

Chill-out music..

Red Hash - Gary Higgins
Getz/Gilberto
and Simon & Garfunkel/Bookends always calm me down. Then Parsley Sage Rosemary and Thyme comes on and makes me stressed again, because its for the most part terrible.

Would you laugh if I suggested the Sundays? Because I haven't listened to them in a while, but I think they would be perfect for this. Maybe I'll put 'em on when I get home, actually!

That newish Karl Blau record is pretty great, too.

Strangely, watching Calvin dance does seem to have a calming effect on me...

Yeah, I was thinking: I love the Halo Benders but Calvin looks a bit "special" onstage.

Also can't help but wonder, where the hell was this band during the last 2 elections? Politically charged pop songs? Hell, who doesn't need that?

I think this just might be your ticket. Sadly there are no samples on the link. But I tell you Eric...you won't believe it's not butter.
