I guess Theremin was a Soviet spy. He invented a listening device and I heard somewhere that when he was in the US in the 20s and 30s he stole secrets from the US patent office and sent them to the USSR.
I don't know why, but knowing the guy was a spy makes the instrument better now. It's much cooler now.
I love the last scene. God, that looks sexy.
God, was I annoying at the Trading Musician last year, whacking off with the therimin like that. The retro-future may only consist of sine-wave-mutants.
Trent, there's lots of crummyfun to do there. Bloomfield Bridge Tavern or one of the south Oakland bars may have good music. Perhaps even The Working Poor! Greg and Brian on the myspace link were the stalwarts back when I played fretless with them.
I like the grabbbing at air image. Can see it as I listen. Please send to the White House. If ever there were air grabbers in office, we have a gang of political toots.
How's Pittsburg?????

If you want to see a theramin virtuoso, be sure to check out Fishbone at Studio 7. Angelo plays it tunefully and with soul.
Breakfast cereal is always the highlight of any theremin display. It's the mazes on the back.
That dude can play though, no doubt.
ummm... seattle USED to boast the nation's premier theramin player- DJ KO of iqu fame. he's moved to LA. gee, i wonder why...
Amazing. i would move to LA too.
