Andrew W.K. is a computer program run out of NORAD to simulate the effects of partying to the fullest on the human body. Thank you for uncovering the conspiracy.

Okay, it's admittedly nearly 5 am as I write this, but I think this rebuttal is my new religion.

okay now i'm confused...what exactly happened at that show? did he perform or dj? or speak on his ideas of life? this letter has no meaning unless you explain you own expierience so that i can compare them to awk expierience of the night in question.

WTF? that was the most artfully obtuse dodge/mission statement ever. it does absolutely nothing to clarify anything. it actually only confuses things more. who the hell is this guy, what the hell is he talking about, and what does "i'm very clear on that confusion" mean? the whole thing makes my head hurt. im going outside.

okay it's me again....upon reading this another 10 times i have new questions.....did he mean he wasn't present as in he was on something and mentally he wasn't present or did he mean yes physically i wasn't there and had some weird dude pose as me. cause i mean i've seen the pictures and videos and i would be willing to bet my right hand that that was awk. if that is a fake then fuck me in the ass and call me sally.

he's just being stupid now to cover up his lameness. it's like saying something, then realizing people are pissed, replying "i was only joking" when everyone knows you weren't. so, wk, act crazy now, but it sucked.

he should've JUST sang his songs. wasted and without a backing band, that still seemed to be what the people wanted..

I think a haircut and a fresh suit is all that keeps this man out of politics.

I am the guy who was DJ-ing the Highway Party Cruiser Tour, but i am just a musician/artist who likes to play records for my friends, not a pro DJ. Flosstrodamus are pros. It seems like some of you Seattle-ites are over-thinking the party performance @ Chop Suey. That's OK. No doubt the good people of the Northwest in general are famously thoughtful, and known for passionate critical response to life encounters, and Seattle-ians are no exception. You fearlessly draw your lines and hold them. Jimi-re-invents elec guitar, Pearl Jam-takes on the Ticketmaster syndicate, The Sonics!-need I say more. You are all legacies of pioneers of the bravest order. You SHOULD question everything you experience. You MUST continue to push the thresholds of experience and creation. Even a big party. Many things happened at all of the parties on the tour. What went down @ Chop Suey is no exception. Keep thinking it all through. Continue the analysis. Go over it again and again. Keep doing it. Go over it to get over it. Or is it, "You gotta get under, before you get over" ? Was James Brown from Seattle? Regardless, to all you good people who attended that party---thank you for bringing your A-game (physically, criticaly, and otherwise). KEEP ON THINKING IN THE RED!!!!!!

Love,

Doug Anson
