Can the Comet even physically contain USE?

use are horrible. can the stranger get some real music critics, instead of scenesters? at the very least, fire eric grandy and bring back dave segal. why did he leave a second time? i missed that.

Yeah, fire Eric Grandy!

Dave Segal left a second time of his own volition, because he wanted to work full time in Orange County instead of freelance in Seattle. I can't blame him, but I too miss him.

USE are fun live, but they have been playing the exact same songs for the last 4-5 years. One-trick pony? Sure, but it's a fun ride.

I'm more interested to see how all the 14-year-old myspace addicted Lashes' fans plan on getting into the comet.

Should be fun.

ben lashes is a creative promo'er. i am sure he did this. of course we care about the lashes and the catch. but, i hear that u.s.e will be debuting new songs. probably proving why they arent a 1 trick pony mr. poopy attitude @9.

my favorite story about the lashes ever is when i ran into ben lashes on the reel big fish tour bus. THE END.

No one cares about USE anymore either.

Matty, I seriously doubt that. They are fucking infectiously fun live. So if you hate fun, dance-floor igniting music, then by all means you are correct.

Something tells me you are wrong though.

I would HOWEVER, like to see them play new songs. The same set they have played for the last couple of years is still fun, but a bit tired.

I guess since USE is in like 5 other brilliant bands it can be hard writing new music. I'm willing to bet they will retain their crown of badass dance rock.

i saw that there was another sign that said the lashes were "foppish broods" playing a spurious ploy on seattle by spreading the rumor that u.s.e was going to be doing some music this friday. it was written in the same style as this flyer. so funny. man those u.s.e and lashes guys are great at creative promo'ing. how fun!

once again, u.s.e proved they are the funnest, tightest live band in the world. thanks for the fun friday night, use! cops and fire marshall came at like 9. i barely got in to see the first bands.
