News Why?

I was having a perfectly acceptable day.
I got to sleep in, my hair is doing everything it’s supposed to, it didn’t rain on me on my walk to work this morning even though I could tell the clouds really wanted to, and I finally got a perfect 100 on the level in “Yoshi’s Island” that has been driving me crazy for the past two days.
Then this had to happen…

I found out Pete Wentz is opening a bar in New York that will…. wait for it… “…be like Shredder’s hangout in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2.”
(Link is to The Onion’s A/V club, and my friend Matt is the jerk who pointed it out to me and ruined my day.)
Jesus. Why do bad things always happen to good people!?
It’s so hard being me…

And here I am just thankful that it's at least 10 blocks away from me.
Still, Christ, he couldn't have opened it in fucking Williamsburg?
At any rate, I look at it this way: NYC is full of clueless douches already...at least this'll be one more place to corral them away from the rest of us.
Haha, I like this guy's comment on that page:
"Shredder's hideout in Turtles 2 was a fucking junkyard. In Turtles 1 he had a kickass 'Factory-esque' pad. How about you stick to taking pictures of your junk."
HA the place will get shut down the first time they get raided. the benefits of a city that enforces scanning!
still, i see your ten blocks and i raise it to a dangerously few three.
there goes the neighborhood.
So why exactly does news about some dude opening a bar 3000 miles away from you in New York City ruin your day? This would be like me saying that because Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton are no longer best friends ruined my St. Patrick's Day. WHO CARES!
another fun bit: panic! at the disco wanted to buy in but they aren't 21. ;_;
don't fret boys! someday your balls will drop and then you can party with the rest of the babyfaced pedos.
Hello everyone, wanna be part of some kind of community, possible here? anyone here?
