Warning: If you are at a bar, choosing the 44-minute live version of the Allman Brothers’ “Mountain Jam” for the jukebox may be an unwise move.
You will receive dirty looks and possibly a beating. Someone might also secretly place loogie in your next beer-type beverage.
Disc 2 of the 1970 Live at Ludlow Garage is best suited for home listening. Sound is raw, but for Duane Allman fans, this recording caught him at the height of his playing. On disc 1, his solo in “Dreams” transports.
“Climb down off the hilltop, baby, and get back in the race.”

funny, "mountain jam" has always been one of my fave jukebox monopolizers. but thats the 20-minute version on eat a peach. this one i havent heard.
Oh, it's full on swamp odyssey. Get nude, wade in, and survive.
The Doors "When the Music's Over" is another jukebox hog.
I tried playing The Beatles "Revolution #9" at a bar and was kicked out.
that is funny, elswinger. what kind of bar was it? ballsy going w "numba 9, numba 9, numba 9." tell me where it is and i'll go put it on.
I worked at a bar where the bartender put on Pink Floyd's "Echoes" towards closing time. Some irate older customers walked up and told him if he wanted them to leave, he shoulda just said so.
He shrugged, and went right on listening to "Echoes."
