"The Capitol Hill Block Party is shaping up to be pretty good this year."
Good, because last year cool too! the obnoxious one-line entrance thSTA STRETCHED AND STRETCHED afforded us noyt to pay and cheer on BOAT from the non-view behind the barricade-like Tatrpaulianians (note: that is a recently discovered dinosaurus remnant, snakelike, flat, eel i mean, no water, the world dried in 2019, excavators are still wading thru the crowd to chainlink the m,ash behind the rioters).
Buying drinks with a new stranger friend, ick always meeting ne w people, Thon Yorke was right, is easy. He bought, we bought rounds of drinks caged away the masssese street bound deafiningly crunch AMP. the guy was pretty neat. we all shared mental ililnesses. perhaps he's still happy with wihis drop in pay to go be a tlocal tree surgeon , fanve cy for landscape helper.
The entrance will be better this year for sure, BUT, there are TWO entrances, one at Pike and Broadway and one at Pike and 12th. There was hardly ever a line at Pike and 12th. I guess everyone liked standing in line together.
Leslie and the Lys are on Friday. Many more bands will be announced May 16, and even more May 30.
Just fyi...tickets are already selling faster than they ever have in the past, so Garret, as soon as your up and the hangover is gone, I'd go get one.
heh-heh, thanks Meinert. it was actually ok behind the tarps last year. Trying to talk to the BOAT guys through the mesh was pretty funny. But yeah, we got there a tad late, and didn't know about the other entrance.
Awesome! Fri or Sat?
I don't know if they've worked out the exact schedule yet. The rest of the lineup should be on this blog around May 16th.
