I’m actually suprised that the tickets are only $10 advance. That’s a pretty good deal to see my more gorgeous doppelganger.

will that $10 ticket price include a meet-and-greet with the spice girls er... pipettes where i can have my cd signed? that seems to be pretty common with these staged indie-cred things.

Ummmm. . .I think they are going to play a show. That would be my best guess. I don't think this is a staged indie-cred thing. Not really 100% sure what you are talking about.

I'm not against manufactured groups, but this is some seriously overrated fluffy crap. I guess this would be fun if you're into Broadway musicals or something.

Manufacturing music is excellent.

The Pipettes are the best band. Totally looking forward to drooling all over them at the Chop that night. Hope Monster Bobby opens the show.

And they are just doing what every Brit band ever does...playing a small club tour to build hype and then coming back around a few months later for the knock-out punch. Hopefully people are as stoked about them as I am

I'm kind of torn on the Pipettes for some reason. On the one hand, I love the music. On the other hand, I wish they'd tone down the visual retro kitsch a bit, as I think the music stands on its own. On the third hand, the one with the glasses is hot.

this venue is clearly too small for this show, and ticket prices are too cheap. this is just a way to get the indie kids talking about them, and seem as if they're something other than a manufactured pop group.
