Song Oooh! Ah!

These days I might geek out over Jake, Adam, and various other Teen Beat cover-worthy hotties, but my heart really belongs to Lindsey Buckingham; Lindsey, Tom Petty, and David Bowie circa Labyrinth were my original crushes.
My parents love Fleetwood Mac—Lindsey, Stevie, all of it. I love it too; I grew up on it. In my high school journalism class, my friend Lacey and I would subject the class to listening to FM over and over on deadline days. So while I should be working on a piece for next week’s paper that was technically, uh, due yesterday, instead I’m fighting a mild case of writer’s block by watching this video over and over again.
Lookin’ out for LO-AH-OVE! Big, big looooooove…
Sorry, JZ. I’ll get back to work now.

Dude, David Bowie's package in Labyrinth is fucking insane!
Big Love is undeniably good, but my fav Lindsey Buckingham is "Holiday Road" from National Lampoon's Vacation. He's totally hot in that mid-80s big hair, big jacket way. Check it:

The very biggest disappointment of making my upcoming feature film 'Cthulhu' was that we couldn't get the rights to Camper Van Beethoven's cover of 'Not That Funny'. Mr. Buckingham doesn't license songs. Ever, at any price. Which is kind of awesome, but not in this case.
I think every woman who was under the age of 10 when they first saw 'Labyrinth' has a small, undying crush on David Bowie and his insane package. Seriously, that movie never gets old for me because when all all else fails, I can still gawk at his junk.
