In celebration of the birthday of computer music, here’s a primer on the world of electronic music from 1983. If you’re into analog synths and oscilloscopes, here’s some gear-porn for you.
But wait, there’s more. Here are parts two and three.
This is the kicker for me. If I could find an 1/8inch reel to reel, I'd enter.I got a spool around here from a tape-loop seminar. A few minutes of buchla and arp twisty growls. I called it Oil Rig and had the introductionist read a poem of mine about Bob Hope. No prizes but an excellent venue in the fine arts building.
did anyone else get this email?
