<p>Announcing a Synthesizer/Electronic Music Composition Challenge for the <br />
Seattle area.</p>

<p>What:  A composition contest using synthesizer/electronic sound design <br />
and composition skills.</p>

<p>Deadline: Submissions must be postmarked by June 14, 2007 and received <br />
by June 20.</p>

<p>When: Contest judging event is Tuesday, June 26th, starting at 8:00 <br />
p.m.</p>

<p>Where: CHAC Lounge, 1621 12th Avenue, Seattle (the lower level of the <br />
Capitol Hill Arts Center)</p>

<p>How Much: There is no cost to enter though compositions must be <br />
submitted in Audio CD format.<br />

<p>This is the kicker for me. If I could find an 1/8inch reel to reel, I'd enter.I got a spool around here from a tape-loop seminar. A few minutes of buchla and arp twisty growls. I called it Oil Rig and had the introductionist read a poem of mine about Bob Hope. No prizes but an excellent venue in the fine arts building.<br />
