Ha ha! Sam McPheeters said it best, "All Music is Shit to God." Or He just doesn't like the Polyphonic Spree. Or He's not real. Still, I hope things work out tonight...

Oh man, that darn GOD! Good thing I went ahead with the acapella version of XTC's diatribe "Dear God" at Mr Chai's open-mic last thursday. I think I offended everyone, esp. when I asked wassup with the Chai statueshrine thing on top of their espresso maker. Had 4 arms.-I was heckled back that it was called Vishnu- Stepping on a baby!!- I was heckled back that it was a 'bad' god. Anyway I believe in God sometimes, sometimes I don't, does that make me a gnostic or somethin?

I am sooooo over the Smoosh thing. Do not be jealous of their impending adolescence.

TPC were fine, probably would have liked them more if they hadn't been a consolation prize of sorts. But it was nice to get pummeled back into submission by the Black Angels' low end afterwards.

The Spree getting stopped in the middle of their set pretty much took the wind out of my sails (speaking only metaphorically) for the rest of my afternoon. i have a serious soft spot for that cheesy, overblown, epic choral shit. i had to go buy one of their albums to console myself.
