Wait. When did goths become agro?? When I was in high school in the late '80s goths were the "pansy version of goths." I'd like to see Robert Smith and Siouxie participate in "beat down day".

The best thing about that video was the narrators hard pronunciation of consonants to make it sound IMPORTANT. Hilarious!

Guess they need to fill the void since the punks vs. the metal heads battle is over 20 years old.

It seems like the story was a warning for parents: Don't let you kids get into that sick, wicked emo or else kids who listen to music that's even shittier than emo will beat them down.

Hooray for Fox News and scare tactics.

Be on the lookout for warning signs: big belt buckles and tight shirts. This is a sure sign that your kids are worshipping the devil. It's the Hells Bells documentary all over again.

I miss the classic days of Alien Sex Fiend shows and Nick cave and the Bad Seeds. Now that was a weird and aggro time.
And since when did goth seperate itself from Industrial? Those sounds from Eroupe and Wax Trax label were pretty much in Dark territory.
I've always fancied Skinny Puppy as goth way back in the day and even though I wasn't labeling myself as such, the places that played Skinny Puppy also played Nin Inch Nails and Bauhaus in the same night. And goths were everywhere in the 80s and 90s. What is this new Goth called Emo? Where does it come from?
Why is it even considered new? jeezuz I feel old...
and birds are diein and stuff.
wheres my Alien Sex fiends.
