The role of the fire marshall in approving performance spaces, now that a smoking ban is in effect, mystifies me a bit. Do they expect rock bands to spontaneously combust or what?

But boy howdy has it been fun to watch the Seattle all-ages posse collectively lose their shit the last few days. Shall we start a diaper fund?

Well, to be fair there are other things that can cause fires in buildings, what with, you know, electricity and all.

Or I suppose a somebody rubbing some sticks together really fast could do it. But, I'm sticking with the electrical fire reasoning for now.
