Bell Bottom Bliss Pt. 3 “Magic” by Pilot

posted by on July 20 at 8:30 AM

I’m pretty sure this song’s been used in a movie soundtrack—Dazed and Confused, maybe?

“Lazy day in bed, music in my head, crazy music playing in the morning light.”

Those “lalalalalalas” in the background of the chorus? The handclaps? Damn that’s good.

Wiki says that Pilot was formed by members of the Bay City Rollers:

That song is pure, unadulterated, non-ironic awesomeness.

The original members were not in Bay City Rollers. But, a few of the Rollers were picked up along the way and added to the group.

Pilot were bigger overseas than here, but damned if they didn't make some fine singles. Make sure to check out their other big hit, "January," too.

Bay City Rollers? Eh. I'm more of a Rosetta Stone man myself.
