Best Show I’ve Ever Seen

posted by on July 30 at 2:39 AM

Daft Punk was worth the money and worth the wait. For the last few hours all I’ve been able to do is “Woo!!!!!!” at people or exclaim “Best show ever!!!!!,” so I’m going to take Eric’s cue and refrain from saying too much until I’m a bit more lucid and restrained in my use of exclamation points. Here’s a pic from the show. In all, it was amazing visuals, surprisingly non-shitty sound, and a pair of robots reminding a crowd of thousands of their humanity through music.

I definitely thought that was the best show I've ever seen. It really was. I've never had so much fun. The lights and visuals were amazing and the set was perfect.

Best show ever. The coolest thing I have ever seen in my life. So fricking intense (seriously, at one point, I started getting vertigo and goosebumps). The crowd's excitement was palpable, the lighting effects were indescribable, and the sound was fantastic. I'm so glad to have been a part of that.

i agree, best show ever.

no, it was not the best musical performance i have ever seen, and it didn't make me want to go out and buy daft punk records.

i largely give this kind of delegation due to the genius that is martin phillips, the lighting designer.

the syncronicity of it all, and the creative use of the lighting/visual technologies used were absolutely breathtaking at points.

Prince could become relevant again ONLY if he got Daft Punk to produce some beats for his tired ass.
