Not much to add to the Pitchfork post about the Boredoms’ apocalyptic drum circle spiral, 77BOADRUM, happening in NYC on 07/07/07 except, WHY AM I NOT GOING!!?! Damn! Andrew W.K. started out as a drummer. in fact he used to play drums in that band .Nema, the crust side project of 90's emo stalwarts Current. I wish there was a college class I could teach this shit to so I wouldn't feel like all this useless knowledge is being wasted on me.
I was on the jet blue site to purchase a plane ticket from 7/5-7/8 a couple months ago, specifically to see this... and I was like, "nah...".
