Comments on Last E-Street Band Tour?

You should go. First, Springsteen is a very good songwriter. Secondly, his performances (at least the ones I attended with the E Street Band in the 80s) are fantastic. I saw a lot of them as the person I was dating at the time was a huge fan. So, between 1981 and 1986 or so, I saw probably a dozen performances. I still rank his shows a top notch (and I've seen hundreds by other bands during and since).

I would add this caveat: go to see him in a smaller venue, if possible. I thought that he and the band didn't quite pull off a good stadium show (who can?). And if you were as lucky as I to sit in the second row at a show and catch his harmonica, well, prepare to be mobbed.

I saw the Rising Tour with the E Street band in the Tacomadome and it was amazing. I had to eat some serious crow and tell my older sister that she was right back in the 80's!
I sure hope they come back, I still count that as one of the best shows I've ever seen.
