I personally find Sufjan Stevens to be very obnoxious.
But I love Belle & Sebastian.
It was the best reviewed album of 2005 [metacritic], and, yes it continues to be good after two years.
I'd bet on a album about birds.
That was my favorite record that year... and until Illinois was released I didn't think anything that year could top The Decemberist's Picaresque. I must've bought at least six extra copies of Illinois to give away, I loved it that much.
My only criticism of the album is that it went on a bit too long and faded a bit in the end.
I'm sorry, but I'd blow that nerd.
(Beer talking?)
Sorry Christopher, I think you might've been the last one in Seattle to get on that trolley.
But yeah, it's a great album. I just hope he lives to 200 or so, because at this rate he's going to need to in order to do all 50 state albums.
it may actually someday be not good. i felt the same ahhhhsome way for three months when i got the album. now i can't stand it.
i don't, however, know what it would be like to blow him.
