i smell a turn you on happening here, megan.

it has a weird smell, too--like bad breath, whisky, and pee-stained denim.

i agree w rum, sodomy, & the lash. really their first three albums are incredible. shanes lyrics--man. totally in the legacy of great irish gutter poets. any of those first three--red roses for me, rum sodomy, or if i should fall from grace w god--is them at their best.

Please please please write about them, Jonathan. That thing you wrote a while back for an earlier market was so illuminating -- I would love to hear you lit-riff more on this band.

And I would love to reissue the Nips/Nipple Erectors so bad in a sweetly remixed, liner notes by someone like you, etc., format it's killing me.
