Wow! Complete with Charles Peterson style photography! It really is grunge! Fitting tribute to the bar that made Kurt famous. You can tell how well respected Akimbo are, when they do a Nirvana cover and Seattle people are actually rocking out, instead of flipping the band off. Man, this makes me want to look up the book "Touch me I'm sick" by Charles Peterson.

I saw Akimbo last night for the first time and they were RAWK! Those guys know how to put on a good show. I loved the crazy crowd! Nice job.

I've seen Akimbo 40+ times, and I've never seen people enjoy them like they did at the Comet on Saturday night. Finally, this city is paying attention to one of their truly great bands. The "Breed" cover was insanely good, too.
