Yes, there will be a limited number of student tickets available for 32.50, on sale exclusively through the HUB Ticket Office. (They don't have TM service charges so the actual discount is bigger than it appears.)
Hec Ed is actually, for a large venue, a really great place to see a show. The Shins played in there a couple years ago and the sound and sightlines were good. Way better than their clangy show at the Paramount, and certainly better than that football stadium at Bumbershoot. There's no better venue in Seattle that the Arcade Fire could play.

does anyone know if this is at all connected with the university and dawg daze? is there any discount, pre-sale advantage that students get?
Where's "Bank of American Arena"?
Bank of America Arena is part of the Hec Edmunson Pavilion on the University of Washington campus.
Apparently. (Never been there myself; seems like an odd choice of venues.)
Think of it as Key Arena Jr. About as bad, just a tad smaller.
