Last Night Club Pop! Gets a Visit From the Coppers
posted by on August 24 at 12:14 PM
Last night, you might have seen a huge crowd of fashionably dressed young people outside Chop Suey, surrounded by a bunch of fire trucks and police cars. Here’s why, according to Michael Yuasa, the event’s promoter:
It was a sold out show, and the police came down because there were so many people there, especially standing out front to see if they could get in. Then the fire department came, and more police, and they said it was too crowded in there [during Freezepop’s set] and that no one who left could go back in.Kids were crying! It was crazy. The floor was covered in sweat like I have never seen, and the gamers who turned out seemed very upset when they couldn’t get back in.
Hot, sweaty, sad young people, aye? Maybe the cops just wanted to join the party!

ARI!!!!!!!!!
You were supposed to revise this, I sent this in a text message, just write what you saw out front......the fire men were pretty buff thou!
I did revise it, silly! I took out all your grammar mistakes. :-D
You should have taken out the part about kids crying. I wanted to cry "foul" re: the overbearing police and fire debt, but the crying kids thing made me shrug deal off.
Thats what I meant, The kids cryed FOUL!!!!
"Aye," eh?
this was the most ridiculous thing i have seen for awhile.
i am not sure who screwed up but paying ten bucks for ten minutes of being inside and and an hour and a half waiting outside and argueing with incessantly nasty security in order to get my coat and leave seems a bit of a joke.
added to the taxi fare that i was forced to pay since it took so long to get the said coats , thus preventing me from getting a bus before they stopped, pushes it from a bit of a joke to a bit of giant mistake.
whoever screwed up... you suck .
there was only one firetruck, i think, when we drove by. my head though is so evil though, i was looking toward the corner windows thinking it was bright inside the club, and i was just Wishing there was a fire. totally stupid, all the kids, mass amounts were standing all around the sidewalk -- eh, it got us talking about how in mines, maybe real old coal mines, the area could actually be sinking because the rock underneath is still molten. makes sense? The Hot Rock, is that album any good? heheh The Woods, gee, they were all about the burn.
Your comment doesnt make any sense............Last night was RAD!!!
totally, fire drills were always pretty RAD at school, except for the single file stuff - remember when George busted out of that bday party on Seinfeld knocking over the old lady and stuff. that was sooooooooooooo funny
My money is that Eric Grandy shut it down....
come oonnnnnn
