Oh my god...this stuff sucks. I'm sick of Icelandic cutesy quirky chicks. I saw this act Kira Kira at the Triple Door not long ago...another quirky Icelandic chick acting like a special needs 12 year old elf. Annoying.

GusGus alum Daníel Ágúst also has a newish solo album, which is pretty cool; very sparse production w/strings and beats and soft vocals (but not as Starbucksy as that sounds).

@2 have you noticed the the one iPhone commercial. It scrolls through all the differnet things you can do. they have an album pic on the phone screen which was also popular next to Starbuck's cashiers and tip jars (TIPS?! for what?!). Seemed like product placement, then a shot scrolling the New York Times.

oh well, I try to avoid commercials for the most part. I guess it was worth it to see Suzanne Vega on Leno. Very Cool, very styling. So into it, i stuck around for Conan. Blonde Redhead had the 12 yr old elflook goin on, ok drones.

I almost left Vega off the radar, that woman has got it goin on-
