You should check out Asthmaboy "Later Days." It's not available in stores but can be downloaded for free at www.asthmaboymusic.com. It is an excellent, soothing album for falling asleep (only 1 song with drums).

I swear by Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Extra tea. It's chamomile tea, but the "Valerian Root makes it Extra!" Two cups of that with lemon and honey knocks me out. Tastes pretty good as well. It's cheap and available at the QFCs around. Doesn't work for everyone, but it's always what I reach for.

If Thousands actually released a record in 2003 called "Lullaby" to accomplish just this. The album is the absolute best audio sedative ever. I don't know what anything past the third track sounds like.

I absolutely agree with the sleepytime tea. as an added bonus, it helps give extra-vivid dreams if consumed with lucky charms. but the easiest way to get to sleep at night is to tire yourself out during the day. go for a few miles run/ten miles biking, and see if you can keep yourself awake!
