Remember when this happened?

Well, now this has happened:

U.K. artist Lily Allen is regrettably postponing her upcoming series of West Coast dates. U.S. authorities revoked her work visa earlier this month when she was entering the country. The reinstatement process has proven lengthier than anticipated, thus preventing her tour from launching on September 6th in San Diego, CA.

Refunds are available at point of purchase.

megan, you're clearing it up for me.

all these amty winehouse posts had me thinking, though a doubtful inkling, that she was this Lily Allen. I do in fact know, I think. the one charming hit by her. She did it both on SNL and Dianna's tribute concert- cue "Stand" and that guy riding the bike GET A LIFE. That whole bigpop realm is a strange bag for me, hhmmm, Infectious?!

I wonder if I can still get a refund, after having never bought a ticket?

Same thing happened to Vancouver, B.C. based band You Say Party We Say Die. Their work visa was canceled. They tried to enter the U.S. anyway. They've been banned. Story on their MySpace page. Damn shame, too, because they're pretty good on record and probably damn good live.
