I saw these guys from the distance and I was just wierded out. The music was some of the most terrible sounds I ever heard. I don't think anyone was watching them because they thought they were good, but it was more or less everyone just wondering "what the fuck?"
They creeped me out.

I liked it because of all the circus freaks all around them doing whatever they felt like doing. I thought that was much more interesting than their choreographed stuff, just seeing them do whatever strikes their fancy. Of course it would have been much nicer if the music had been better.

Probably the second best thing about Bumbershoot the whole weekend, next to Rodrigo y Gabriela.

I only saw their shows at night, but during the show Monday night, I couldn't pull myself away to go see Grayboy.

It was kind of like a circus act with trapeze, fire laced hoola-hoops and jumproaps, great choreographic dancing and strange stunts. But there was a unique and gothic-burlesque feel to it.

It was a nice break from music once in a while and anyone who actually watched their entire shows can not deny how talented Vau de Vire really were.

Don't hate on them just because they danced to Love Rollercoaster, a song those evil Chili Peppers covered years ago.
