Go To Bumrocks!

posted by on September 13 at 11:27 AM

Today’s post on Bumrocks is a brilliant Native American Electro Disco song by a group called Cherokee People. Red Man’s Land. Totally out there and cool.

If you don’t know about Bumrocks…. Hell, just go check it out!

now zwickel can go back to palastine and search for youtubes inside of coyotes' mouths. fortunately, he'll stumble upon a few gold teeth to extract and deposit into off-shore drilling accounts.

meanwhile, Montery Pop is on KCTS tonight for those of youtube who can sit there for an hour with the sound on zero.

That's great. You should hear "Indigenous people are f#$%ing awesome." The beats are fantastic, and the message, well . . . who could disagree? Naitve people are so cool. But that doesn't mean you'll be let in to clubs that play that song because, you know, you're brown.

I think I found my date to the friday shindig. We haven't spoken face to face in weeks, and it's likely she'll be gigging in town (ex-groot-ish), but I'm resting on her response as a final offer, barring a splendid serindipitous kink.

We went to see Lez Zepplin together 2 yrs ago in NYC. in februrry!!! missed Christo's Gates by a week or so. She's half jewish, half Native Utah and plays...can't go on. musn't go on. i'm truly confused and sad most of the time. but a a psychoshrink onced a moons or zillion ago said, "just pretend you're happy...in public"--reminds me-- Stop by Real Change to sell Newspapers, occasional good Injun folk there to bless one with myspherical guidance, or a co(s)mic book to get by entertainmed.

I love bumrocks. I've picked up some nice edits by Lee Douglas and Prins Thomas there.
