Posting on a Saturday. What’s wrong with me.
As I was making that last post my son was watching this on TV in the next room.
I really think this could win the kids over to the Rock and Roll lifestyle more than that singers voice in Schoolyard Heroes.
What do you think?
God I hope that chick from Schoolyard Heroes doesn’t eat my brain for saying that.
Schoolyard Heroes are terrible. It's all smoke and mirrors. Total hype. Their music really really bugs me. Basically it's emo.
Somebody tell me how people think they are good?
i agree. they suck ass. her voice manages to be both grating and completely unmemorable. i guess that's a nice trick. those kids couldn't write a decent fucking song if their life depended on it. like a shitty version of the blood brothers with less coke. wait--the blood brothers are a shitty version of themselves. oh well.
The Heroes is definitely a love-em-or-hate-em polarizing band. I happen to love them, but it took seeing them live to bring me around. Their recorded material doesn't completely capture the live experience, so I wonder if those that hate them have also seen them live.
Now that Spongebob rock show truly rocks, I must say (and I'm definitely NOT normally a Spongebob fan)
Good but not as rocking as the end of the Spongebob movie, which featured Patrick glammed out in heels and stockings.
