Amen. They'll be a forgotten footnote in five years. Pitchfork and John Richards like them, so everybody else jumps aboard. Welcome to Seattle, I guess.

I agree, Art Brut is no longer "The Best Live Show Ever." Ever since Eddie Argos got into a relationship with a woman that didn't break his heart, their music has lost that funny/awkward vibe. I wish you could have seen them a couple of years back when they turned crowds into a mass of people drunkenly singing along to songs they didn't even know, but felt compelled to be apart of the love fest because they, too, were totally awkward. I don't even think that makes sense, I guess you really had to be there, like at The Siren Music Festival 2006 (free annual fest., Coney Island).

But yeah, now they don't kick ass, they've become lukewarm.
