Politics Ron Paul for the Long Haul?

A Line Out reader just sent me the link for this video for a song called “Ron Paul for the Long Haul” by a Windsor, Connecticut artist called King Solomon.
I’m surprised that we’re not seeing more songs about the 2008 presidential race—this is the first song I’ve heard that talks about it. Are there others and I’m just missing them? Musicians have a history of being opinionated politically (duh), and a couple years ago there was a lot of passion—a lot of artists had something to say about the war, our government, and our president.
Now not so much despite the fact that in 2008 Bush will be gone and a woman or a black man could very well be the president of the United States of America for the fucking first time ever.
It’s a hot topic and there are no songs about it. No musicians are strongly rallying on one side or the other. Or is it all in my head? Are there other current and overtly political songs out there? Has anyone rapped or sung about Obama or Clinton lately? Or is everyone with a microphone, a guitar, or a turntable over it?

Well do we really expect a presidential song regarding any presidential candidate (except RP) when a twenty-one year old student was tazered in a auditorium full of people for asking a question to a standing senator and only a handful (maybe a dozen or so) people protested this? The American people are being dumbed down to accept this police state and not to resist any form of authority. If there was a draft five years ago, I think there would have been more of a resistance than if there is a draft today or in the next five years. The American people are already being conditioned about the need for a war in Iran when the Iraq war is still very bloody and there's not in end in site. Any presidential music video from now on (except RP) will probably be meaningless and about petty issues. We need America back. Everyone do something to get the word out about RON PAUL

btw, nice music video.
Like the Ron Paul Vid. It was not all preaching the truth, but also has some craft to it. Not bad at all. As for a lack of muscians doing poltical work, I think they need to be inspired to do so, and even though there is a chance for a black man or white woman being the next president, it does not matter since they gonna be a war mongering aipac facist, I dont know, maybe some meth smoking metal heads could help out oboma or clinton, pen a little diddy about how neat-O genocide is as democratic might crushes the homophobic ragheads. Eat shit.
LOL.
Yeah, too bad Ron Paul's a racist fuck.
To number FOUR:
where are you getting your information that Ron Paul is racist?
I think #4 was a GWB pundit. Great video Loved it! Ron Paul for the long haul!!!
