Video Daft Punk - “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger (Live)”

I have to say, Daft Punk’s new Oliver Gondry-directed live video for “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” just doesn’t come close to capturing the ecstatic spectacle that is their live show (though the live mix sounds great, and I can’t wait for the upcoming live album Alive 2007). Here it is, in all its “Awesome! I Fuckin’ Shot That” glory:

I thought you meant Michel Gondry--since he's also worked with the band--but a quick web search confirms that brother Oliver also directs videos. I had no idea.
They sound like a faster funkier version of Kraftwork, sans the german accents, which I don't believe says a lot for their sound.
Wow. Colored lights and two guys in helmets playing a CD.
I like the music. The video is not needed.
Daft Punk live was amazing!!! I saw them in Seattle. Can't wait for the video. Most electronic bands can be pure boredom in concert. Just people pushing buttons. These guys tripped the whole audience out with their light show, sound and live remixes. For the idiot above it's Kraftwerk not Kraftwork.
they are definitely not playing a cd, they are playing an abelton live file.
it still murders nonetheless.

Oh, snap!
Daft Punk noted that they enjoyed the fan-made videos of their performances, and figured that was a better experience than selling a commercial DVD of the show. It's awesome, and puts this video to shame.

I've gotta add that Daft Punk's live show, as sequenced as most of it is, is hands down better than just about any show I've seen in the last 10 years.
The video is cool (through I don't know what abelton is) I also checked out this Webcastr site and it's got loads of cool video stuff. Not like YouTube at all. Here's a link for ya to check out!
