This is cute. Tullycraft were so good last week at the Crocodile. They really need to play out more locally. Less shows by The Valley and The Cave Singers - do people really like these bands? - and more shows by Tullycraft!

I'm sorry but The Cave Singers are just this week's Engine Kid. Remember them? If not, then you don't know your Seattle indie rock history very well. There have been countless Seattle bands that have come and gone while Tullycraft have withstood the test of time and built up fans all over the planet. The Cave Singers will be long forgotten in three years. Don't believe me? Take a look at Sub Pop / Up / CZ's back catalogs and see how many of those bands anyone gives a shit about anymore. You think the kids would be lined up to see a Mocket reunion? I doubt it. Stick with The Cave Singers and see where it gets you.
It's true. It's hard to imagine that Goodness were actually a force to be reckon with here in Seattle. Has anyone listened to those albums recently? Just awful! I'm embarrassed I thought they a good band once.
Fair enough you cynical know-it-all creep, I WILL stick with the Cave Singers. They will make a classic record one day, I know they will.
Tullycraft is nerd music, it's as sickly white as can be (Frere Jones be warned), and your quick recall of bad CZ bands doesn't engender much faith in yr opinions.
Call me crazy, but I'd rather listen to nerd music than The Stranger's latest flavor of the moment band w/ nonsensical "I didn't finish community college" lyrics. Go get 'em Cave Singers!
