The whole "look how funny its is, I'm doing a limp indie acoustic cover of rap/r&b" thing is so tired. Someone more eloquent than I am has written about this topic somewhere on the internets, but I can't be bothered to find it.

Tiga's version, on the other hand, should be played on a loop at Ballet year 'round. Good gracious!

i still fail to see the connection bt nelly and ballet. except, now that i type them, the both have double-ls in their names. but thats not much.

Ballet pumps KISS 106.1 almost exclusively. That's where I heard Nelly the other day. That's what inspired the open letter that inspired this post.

that's funny, I only knew the Tiga version. I gotta listen to something other than house once in a while...
