Look, there was a time when radio was king but, with the internet, you can hear plenty of Springsteen with a simple mouse click. Or you can mail order his new CD from several retailers. The days of Clear Channel and Wal-Mart sanitation are over, so the former's decision not to play The Boss is, in the end, no big deal.

Sirius has a fairly decent stable of indie/alt stations, and it would be just too painful listening to shilling DJs, insipid ads, and generally lame tracks on regular radio now.
