Does anyone over there at the Stranger actually monitor what Trent posts on here? Trent, bro, duuuuude, just because you are stoned - it does not mean that it is in fact good, or a good idea, or a funny idea, or a clever idea, or witty, or profound, or etc.

Uh, the real crime here is Blake B. Shitty Lewis. You are pissed about someone poking some creative fun? I think you are pissed about something else.

I've learned more / been more entertained from Trent's Lineout writing than anyone else there.

Trent, whatever you do, don't become a boring music journalist.

@ #5. Agree. Please make sure Trent gets as stoned as he needs to be in order to keep Line Out interesting. Thanks in advance.

This made me laugh. But I'm not stoned. My bad.

The instrumental sections on the B. Lewis record give it some chance of having something listenable. Funny, I'll be listening to the record to hear what happens in between songs. I've never done that before.

I'd buy a Madlib produced beat box vs. drum record. Sign me on.

i have no idea what this post is talking about. i am kinda sick of people trashing Blake Lewis though. When ever somebody gets big from this city they get trashed. So he made a career for himself, now you want to cut him apart? Do i love his music, no not even like, but why rip into him every chance. I think people just get mad when the douchebag down the hall gets a big break and they don't. I watched B-Shorty hussle like no other with no shame. hard work does get you somewhere. famous and hated

AC #8,

This post is talking about an article that was put up yesterday where Blake Lewis says he invented a genre called 2080. He says it is "a journey through metal, drum-and-bass with scratching on it to
Michael Jackson pop into Erasure into Depeche Mode into some dub reggae."

Then I make a comment saying I don't think it's going to sound good to mix those things.

Then I reference something that Blake Lewis' drummer told me about the record.

Then I propose, hey, what if the album didn't have any hit songs? What if the Blake Lewis album was an experimental instrumental album of beat boxing and drums mixed by Madlib?

Then I say I've invented my own musical genre, Schubertenudo Glam.

That's what the post is about, AC.

Where do I trash Blake Lewis? Where do I talk shit about him? Where do I disrespect his work ethic?

Not only does Bloomberg read every Moorman post, but so does Giuliani, Steinbrenner, Michael Musto, and sweet Lou Reed. Joey Ramone as well. Supposedly Hillary does too, although perhaps that's not a ringing endorsement. But the fact is, through this here Line Out, he touches hearts from Seatac to Hackensack to outback.

So quit hatin, or just quit readin, bitch.
