Re BoH: It's not that they "never sold out*," it's that they didn't think anyone would notice them selling out. Then when their fans noticed and didn't buy the original unrepentant a-guy's-gotta-make-a-living line, then they un-sold-out.

*This is assuming that selling your songs to Wal-Mart does in fact constitute selling out, or that there even is such a thing in this day and age, which is another discussion entirely.
