marcus was djing off his ipod, and when the dj table got knocked over by drunken revelers, his ipod disappeared amidst the scattered cables, confetti, and empty cups. wherever it was, it was still connected to the mixer and pumping out jams.
i only realized this when i woke up this morning. at the time, my rum-muddled brain couldn't figure out where the music was coming from, since the cdjs weren't playing, and the front bar wasn't playing anything on their stereo, either. if the sensible and obvious conclusion that it was the ipod that was playing the music had occurred to me, i would have just followed the cord and rescued the ipod from the floor.
anyway, while it is still possible that someone saw the ipod down there and nabbed it, i have a feeling it was there the whole time.

god damn it. just shut up about that block. its over. kathleen wilson has already wiped the cum off her lips from blowing ever band in town, the cha cha has already turned their nose up at the last ugly person, the burritos didn't taste good and cobra high was a fucking awful band. who gives a shit about that block closing? it was all borrowed culture anyways. now maybe this idiotic paper will focus on a new block or maybe embrace the whole town they say they cover. bullshit. that block was bullshit.
