we had the exact same gingerbread-house-kit for my friend's daughter. and on monday night when we tried to put it together, our house met the same fate. roof slide and then the side walls went. we decided to make it a shanty/lean-to gingerbread shack.

you think they'd do a bit more qa testing before they went around breaking children's heart with a pos gingerbread shack.

fortunately, my friend's daughter, much like jelani, took it all in stride and didn't seem very bothered by a gingerbread collapse.

I have always wanted to eat a Gingerbread house and never had the chance to.
