Add this to the overlooked list: Pase Rock tonight at Sing Sing. (Seriously, how did we completely miss this show?) You might know Pase as part of Spank Rock’s extended party rap family, or you might know him from his “Waters of Nazareth” drop on Steve Aoki’s mix cd, his novelty song “Lindsay Lohan’s Revenge” (“why you showing them coochie lips/gettin’ up out your car?”), or his latest, “So Fuckin’ Disco”, which is the fucking jam!

You can download Pase Rock, live in the mix with DJ Ayres, Cosmo Baker, and DJ Contra from zshare.

thanks for the link. i'm not the biggest fan of spank rock, but their fabriclive mix is phenomenal. it proves that vaguely talented people can still like really good music.

also: free mix from the rub? yes, please.

press releases? all reviews of 'yo yo yo' would have you believe that spank rock are the second coming of uncle luke when in actuality, it's probably the worst album ever released on big dada (which is saying a lot).

sorry for the hateration, i'm just not feeling nyc's miami bass 2.0 surge. it feels like it'll go the way of baile funk, rave revivalism, electroclash, etc. etc.

on a non-haterish tip, nice one getting paul devro on nye - dude has the solid selection of diplo with the added ability of being able to mix.

Wait, the rave revivalism isn't over already, is it? What am I gonna do with all this ecstasy?!?!

Sell it to 14 year olds, obv. That's what you do with all expired trends!

YoYoYo was one of my most played CDs of the year. It's a fun album. I doubt anyone thinks it's the second-coming of anything, but it makes me shake my ass and that accounts for something, no?

[yo yo yo is] probably the worst album ever released on big dada (which is saying a lot).

So wrong it's not even funny. Wait, it is funny...

Big Dada is a good--not great--label. You make it out to be some bastion of utter wackness. And Yo Yo Yo is only a bad album if you hate fun and wicked beats (yes, wicked). Plus, Amanda Blank is on it.
